Prelude to the Afternoon of a Bassoon

The Sophomore Class of the University of Michigan Bassoon Studio present a recital with music inspired by the animal kingdom. Peter Ecklund, Marissa Honig, Aviva Klein and Jacob Sugarman are joined by Landon Baumgard, piano, Julia Foran, viola, Tim Edwards, cello, Cassie Nelson and Allison Chu, clarinet, Ryan Cox and Connor O'Toole, saxophone, Megan Wojtyla, oboe, Nataniel Farrar, bass clarinet and Jeffrey Lyman, reader. 

Music of Rimsky-Korsakov, Alan Ridout, Gioacchino Rossini, Camille Saint-Saëns, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Ton ter Doest and Peter Schickele, plus a reading of Ralph's Secret Weapon by Steven Kellogg.
