Join faculty and fellows of the NewBassoon Institute in an outdoor performance of Brad Balliett’s work for multiple bassoons: Arboretum. This unique work features 16 bassoonists performing individual solos inspired by various tree species, all of which come together in a harmonious whole in the woods and around the pond behind the Moore Music Building. Audience members can stroll along the path behind the building, enjoy the music at the edge of the pond, and move among the players as they perform.
